Guided by the leadership of the Accumulator and Recovery Industrialists Association (AKÜDER), İnci GS Yuasa launched a significant project to support vocational education, in collaboration with Manisa Provincial Directorate of National Education and the Union of Chambers of Tradesmen and Craftsmen Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School (ESOB).
Through the two-week technical course offered as part of the project, students gained theoretical knowledge on battery technologies and had the opportunity to enhance their practical skills using the workshop equipment provided by İnci GS Yuasa. During the program, students received hands-on training on battery production and recovery processes. As part of the program, students also visited İnci GS Yuasa factories to reinforce their field experience and had the opportunity to observe how their theoretical knowledge is applied on the production line.
At the certificate ceremony held in April, students who successfully completed the program celebrated their graduation, now equipped to meet the industry's need for qualified workforce in the sector. Led by AKÜDER, this project strengthened the connection with young talents entering the sector, enhancing their learning through a blend of theoretical and practical knowledge.
In his statement regarding the project, Kadir Kaymakçı, Managing Director of İnci GS Yuasa, emphasized the company’s vision of contributing to the sector’s development while bringing young individuals together with the technologies of the future.
