İnci GS Yuasa, a subsidiary of İnci Holding and the Japanese battery giant GS Yuasa, has achieved remarkable success by winning the Golden Export Award for the third consecutive year at the 2024 Champions of Export Award Ceremony, organized by the Uludağ Automotive Industry Exporters’ Association (OİB). Generating over half of its sales revenue from exports, the company produces one out of every three batteries exported from Türkiye to the world at its Manisa factories, thereby contributing to the country’s foreign trade balance through technology.
Delivering its products and services to over 80 countries across 6 continents, İnci GS Yuasa, the leader in the battery industry, continues its export success unabated, driven by its commitment to technology and innovation. The company, which continues to export batteries manufactured in its Manisa factories worldwide, including Europe, received the prestigious Golden Export Award for the third consecutive time at the 2023 Champions of Export Award Ceremony hosted by the Uludağ Automotive Industry Exporters Association (OİB). The accolade for İnci GS Yuasa, which pioneered the establishment of the sector’s first R&D center in Türkiye and maintains growth through exports, was presented to İnci GS Yuasa International Sales Manager Hasan Kızılkaya in a ceremony which took place on May 29 at the Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TİM) Foreign Trade Complex Şehit Ömer Halisdemir Conference Hall.
İnci GS Yuasa, emphasizing technology and exports in its growth strategy, has allocated two-thirds of its EUR 70 million investment over the past 8 years to R&D and technology. This dedication has resulted in over half of its sales revenue being generated through exports. In 2023, İnci GS Yuasa, with the contributions of Turkish engineers and workers in Manisa, manufactured one-third of all batteries exported from Türkiye worldwide, and accounted for 40% of the batteries exported to Europe.
